Reviews

  1. Time Out NY - "Heather", Enabler Records & "Jer-Z Knights"
"Satanicide's long-form video, "Jer-Z Knights," is a gut-flayer, and the band's CD, "Heather" (Enabler), is a solid good time too.

  2. Crusher Magazine - "Heather", Enabler Records
"Their off stage antics will grab the attention, but the integrity of the songs is what’ll keep 'em coming back. These guys push the party bus past any previously existing boundaries that once minimized the effect of a latecomer cock rock revival and let it all hang out for the world to see."

  3. Electric Basement —"Heather", Enabler Records
"Making it safe to act stupid, praise Satan and smile, Jerzee’s Satanicide's all about taking the music back." "[Satanicide] make an outrageous statement that's an outward parody of Sunset Strip excess but inwardly, play the hell out of the tunes with a string breaking seriousness that's downright deadly and addictive.".

  4. Metal Core — "Heather", Enabler Records
"Down and dirty rock n roll sort of like Raging Slab at times. This is pure rock n' roll with an edge to it. Not many bands are doing this style and this kicks ass for what it is. Pure rock n roll with no bullshit and no nu-metal garbage anywhere. Great vocals, great songs".

  5. Creem Magazine - "Heather" Enabler Records
"Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear when Warrant and Cinderella ruled MTV." "These guys should be stopped before somebody takes them seriously and enjoys this record."

  6. The Richmond Times Dispatch, September 8th, 2003 - "Heather", Enabler Records
"[Singer Devlin] Mayhem's banshee wail could take out a coliseum light, and, baby, he means every word of it."
  7. Synthesis - "Heather", Enabler Records
"I don't know if these guys are serious about this band or not because they are about 15 years too late to release this record. The hair metal gods will be pleased that there are still worshippers at their altar. I can"t even describe their music without referencing the poodle bands of my youth. After listening to Heather , I really wanted to break out "Appetite for Destruction" just to keep some sense of continuity. Any fans of Mötley Crüe will like this record, the styles are very similar, which is kind of why I think this record is a joke. That and all the photos in the liner notes are completely ridiculous, as are the intentional misspellings of words. But they drink Pabst and that makes them awesome guys in my book."
